Weddings are such beautiful occasions. They are even more wonderful when one of your closest friends is standing at the front. But, the thing that takes the cake...being the officiant at the wedding of one of your best friends.

What an amazing experience! I was just about overflowing with joy by the time I got to the "by the power vested in me" stuff, I could barely contain myself. But, what an honor. That someone would see something in me that prompted them to offer me the task of marrying two wonderful people.

That said, as I told them last night, I can't wait to celebrate their 50th with them!
