Writing tonight, I am in the midst of one out of the two most difficult times in my life. One: watching our son wail in agony after surgery two weeks ago. I would never wish an experience like that on anyone. Two: watching my wail in agony. This weekend seems to be the peak of pain for her. The past 4 months have been tough enough, and since we hadn't experience an infection yet, I guess we had it coming.

Needless to say, we are drained, my wife more than I, both physically and mentally. We aren't sure how much more we can take. We know God's grace will get us through these tough times, but we are ready for some smooth sailing...

Hopefully it comes sooner than later...
